The Discovery
This is the new and improved Discovery.
Modeled in 1:72 scale, this all resin model has pieces and once assembled it is more than 4.5 ft long.
A 4 ft., 1/4 dia. steel rod is needed to assemble and support this model. For shipping reasons this is not included but is readily available in most hardware stores.
This model of the Discovery was previously offered online from another company but this version has been accurately updated and many corrections have been made as well as new Monolith bases have been included.
The detail pictures show:
The corrected lower half of the front with correctly sized bay doors and accurate gangway hatch.
Completely reworked rear section with a strong rib for securely attaching the steel rod and access to securely mount the engines. No more breakable thin walls!
A strong, accurate and seperate forward piece.
Two views of the highly detailed and accurate engines.
An entirely new and accurate communication array has also been added to this version.
The Discovery model kit is made upon being ordered, please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery.
